"Silence isn’t empty — it’s full of answers."

Ok, real talk: I love my phone. Like… way too much. 🙃
But sometimes it feels like my brain is being pulled in 20 directions at once — messages, notifications, random scrolling. And then I wonder why I’m tired without even doing anything.
So every now and then, I do this tiny ritual → I put my phone in a drawer. Yup. That’s it. Close it. Walk away. Pretend it doesn’t exist.
And wow… it’s kinda wild how much calmer life feels when that little screen isn’t buzzing at me.
Here’s what usually happens when I “detox”:
🌿 I notice silence again (and it’s not scary, it’s nice).
📖 I actually pick up a book, or just stare out the window like it’s 2005.
🧘 My thoughts slow down — and I realize how loud my head was a minute ago.
🌙 At night, I fall asleep faster (shocker: no endless doomscroll).
It doesn’t have to be dramatic. No “I’m quitting social media forever!!” energy. Just… an hour. Maybe an afternoon. Enough to remind myself that I’m not glued to the screen.
Tbh, the world feels softer when you give your brain a break.
So maybe tonight, try putting your phone in a drawer. Just for a bit.
See what happens.
Worst case → you miss a couple memes.
Best case → you remember what calm feels like. ✨
Taking a screen break,
